then i called the cops. and told them there was a wierd car that had been parked for a while and that it looked stolen.

haha...i already told you...take the bmw from my brother not the mustang :P...i'm taking my ecu out every night when i go to bed ...and i did drive around lookin for my car when it got stolen...then when insurance told me i get nothing i got pissed...but the cop did have another contact number to call once they "release" the car...i'm going to find out who's number that is then go pay someone a visit

Taking out the ECU won't do ----, since most car thiefs carry stuff like that on them, and a tow truck works wonders...

yeah it doesn't matter if it doesn't run. it might have been on here but was most likly on a local board that it read about someone who have their car stolen, got it back but it didn't run but only missing a couple of things, two days later he goes outside and the car is gone again, the thieves had come back and finished what they had started.

You know what would suck? If the tow place were actually a chop shop. I mean, they have a tow truck obviously, and they can rack up the fees all they want by holding the car during its dismantling. Just a thought, but then again I am not very trusting...

It's been done... I know of a local palce that isnt quite a "chop shop" but they do steal parts off of cars when they're towed in.

My Honda just got stollen on Sunday. The insurance company says they will pay out after it has been gone for 30 days. right now I hope they don't find it. I just need to figure out what i want to get to replace it. "I am debating between the Chevy Silverado and the Nissan Titan.
