i just set up a campus visit and admissions appointment for itt-technical institute, i should be starting in fall of '06, it will take 3 years to get my bachelors degree in IT networking and system security, some of you may not give a ----, but i just thought i would share being this is a huge step for me in life, i'm 24 years old, and havent been in school for 6 years now, and i have been married for 4 years, my wife is starting to talk about popping out babies, so i thought i better do something to make some real money eventually, instead of being a light duty automotive tech for $10/hr. for the rest of my life, i'm scared as hell to start school again, hopefully it ends up being a worth while investment.....

I made 71,000 dollars last year as a light duty flat rate tech. I'm not saying I am great I'm just saying its not so much your trade but were you work that sucks *****.

very true, i agree, i could make good money as a tech, but i would have to go to automotive school first, because to be flat out, my ability to do diag on driveabilty problems, and my ability with electrical problems, is ----, i dont know enough to make that kind of money, and i just decided that computer science would get me further in life, rather than going to automotive tech school.....
