Yeah it was a stupid thing to do but we all make stupid mistakes and do dumb ----. Get a lawyer. He can talk to the D.A., city prosecutor, etc. and may be able to reduce the charge to wreckless driving. Although you may have to serve a weekend or two if you get the charge reduced it's still a whole helluva lot better than having a DUI on your record.

never take the breathalizer . take the loss of license and my buddy got pulled over and the cops saw that he was drunk and asked him for his license and he handed them his wallet. and to make matters worse they saw that he was a corrections officer. they come back to the car and say " ah John seems here your a corrections officer" and he replies " yep , 40 hours a week i am". needless to say they werent amused.

Yea, I actually did tell the cops that my car is way faster than their Crown Vic squad car. I dunno about all this lawyer stuff, seems either way I am fucked. I am probably going to just pay the tickets and let my ------- heal when they're done with me.

Its usually not that easy. I don't know if the laws are different where you are but when its all said and done expect to do community service, go through alchohol abuse classes and the fines are a little over $2,000

My fines were around $750 for the DUI, $180 for speeding, then some other ticket about being drunk, I haven't really looked at it since I was drunk. That one was no money. But 3 tickets at 6 pts each.. Helllooooo occupational license... again.

Also, something is wrong with your BAC. If their equipment is fucked up then you have an even better chance of beating it. There's no way, unless you literally chugged three or four beers before being pulled over, that your BAC would go up like that.
