Default Welding

This is abit embarrassing, but..I dont know how to weld

I know its probably not that hard and I really wanna learn how to do the ---- [specially JB welds and stuff] so if anyones got any tips out there, share with me!

LOL okay i'll give you a hint: welding is where you use a machine to melt two pieces of metal together. JBWeld is like epoxy or glue :P

Buy a cheap wire feed welder, find/buy/steal some metal, and start practicing. You'll be decent in no time.

yah. its easy to leran, but if you have a shitty welder its even harder.

LOL! You make it seem like you can't get it up. I learned how to jbweld when I was five. Yeah just get a nice welder and go at it.

Welding is one of those things that you just have to pick up a welder and do..

Steel is easy.
Iron is a little weird, but kinda easy.
Aluminum is just impossible.

With a $50 Harbor Freight chop saw and a POS mig welder you can build 2 outta the 3 hardest/custom things on a HMT.
#1 Charge piping
#2 Down pipe and exhuast

The 3rd thing requires welding, but I'd leave it to a pro with a Tig welder. Which is the exhuast manifold.

dont worry friend, we are both in the same boat. i as well dont know how to weld. i know how to cuss at it and tell it too form together. but that does not always work. :P

There has been about 3 threads directly pertaining to your issue at hand that have been bounced around within the past 3 weeks. Search back a little bit and you will find all the advice you need.

just pester quandine when you need welding help. He seems to know his ---- pretty well, and would probably help you out with any q's you have. i'd help you I'm bitter because quandine has a hoodlum mask with an autodarkening lens, and i couldn't afford any of that ---- :P
