Washington Re-vote
I dont claim democrat or republican, but i feel like the washington governers race was rigged. Is it a coincidence they "found" more votes during the 3rd recount? i dont buy it. there was a newscast tonight about how there are more votes in washington than registered voters. so if you feel like it was a sham(if you care) sign this please.

Re:Washington Re-vote
Ya know, after the first two counts came out the same (or relatively close) I thought for sure it was a done deal.
But as soon as they said they were going to admit disputed ballots from (of all places ) King county, I knew It was gonna swing. If a re-vote isnt currently legal, just let it slide, not worth it. I just hope that in the event that this happens in a future election, a re-vote under these types of circumstances is possible.

Re:Washington Re-vote
He's talking about the Washington State governor's race. Republican candidate won by 40 votes or so, so they recounted.
End result, election overturned and Washington has a new Democratic governor.
By the way, GWB is not, nor we he ever be, my president. Complacency let them get away with it 2 elections in a row now.

Re:Washington Re-vote
One of my ultra conservative uncles brought up an interesting point about our round of "Who buys the state"...
He wanted to know the actual chances of a vote of several million people turning into almost exactly 50.0% to 50.0% it just seems a little odd.
The issue in King Co. is really messed up too, since every other county just automatically added disputed votes without making any issue of it, unlike KC which made a really big issue of nothing.
I also think the voter registry is fuckered up. I could understand a difference of say a couple hundred, but the number they put out was 8,000+ and that was in one sparsly populated county with maybe like 200,000 voters.
I really hate our Gov. Locke regime. The bastard came to our school once and I listened to this really cool speach about how important we all were [students] to a recovering WA economy, two weeks later he signs off a budget that sends WSU's funding straight into the toilet (like a 33% cut) which meant that the furnature shop I was using to design some neat couches became off limits to students. I later watched a girl saw her fingers off in the shop after it was opened again. The shop staff had been cut and almost no one was there to watch her except a few students.
WA in general is fucked up. My girl works in the Department of Health, and comes home pissed as hell because they do no work, and it might take 4-6 weeks to pass a media report through (which is a 4 hour process)....by the way this is the same office that would alert you in case of an E.Coli outbreak or bioterrorism event. Oh and the huge staff they hired to deal with alerting the public for a bioterrorism event....two people...one of which was recently transfered out...the job was too boring for her.
Something needs to change in this state...

Re:Washington Re-vote
Washington State's government is primarily made up of democrats,I doubt Rossi will get a re-vote. It pisses me off how he bitched about having a re-count after he won the initial election, but now that it turns out he lost, now he wants a whole new election. Thats extremely childish. The guy is a crook. The only reason he's in the position he's in is cause he made money off overcharging lower class people for living arrangements. Anwyay, Im biased, I'll probably loose my job if he's elected.
