With the acura you can just go to any scrap yard or HT and get parts.
you can do that with an mr2 also toyota parts are no more expensive than honda parts. same nippon denso bullshit

my point is, there are alot less companys that produce ---- for toyotas than hondas. hands down. i cant find a turbo manifold my toyota. i cant find ---- for it. i cant find any suspension components for it...i cant find brake components for it...nothing like i can for a honda. (my chassis is compatable to the MR2)

you can find suspention stuff. it takes awhile but you can. the rest of it you just kinda have to hmt wing it do you have a tig welder down at the hobby shop on base? we have all of the metal working ---- i need on base here and i just have my friends get me on.

there all allot of honda retailers and you realy dont need to look for anything because its all being pushed to you, toyota ---- you kinda have to look for. ive done both and the honda by far was way easyer but the celica was more fun, and i got to figure ---- out on my own other than just looking at everyone elses kit.

Ok I have the real answer, or so I'd like to think......

I have owned somewhere in the area of 15 honda's and 2 mr2's thusfar. I have to say the mr2 has total superior handling regarless of turbo/nt. The overall setup of a mid engine car is just better, there really is no arguement (porche, lambo, ferrari, indy etc.). But I have to say if your a low budget person like everyone on here the mr2 is retarted to buy. Especially if your not one that does your own work. My roommate owns a 91 mr2 turbo right now. Bought it totally stock and had it shipped accross the US. His turbo went out (ct26) and so I did a bunch of searching on replacements and obviously I could get an adapter plate or make a manifold. That would make me use different oil lines and make him a new downpipe. I was not getting paid for it, just helping a friend so I decided to get a direct replacement for him. We ended up getting him a new "ct27". Essentially it is a ct26 with a borred out compressor housing, the manufacturer claims 200whp/tq......All at a low low price of $850 + $300 core charge untill they recieve your turbo. Thats a horrible price/hp ratio. It took me and a friend 3 GOD DAMN DAYS to get the turbo back in there. Another common problem with the mr2 motors is manifold studs breaking (we experienced 3 just pulling it off). So more or less im saying honda's are much more fun/user friendly to work on. But if you have the cash the mr2 is a superior machine.
