most of the fox body stangs with the 5.0 from late 80's up to 92 some 93's had forged bottom ends, the gray oilpans had forged the black were cast, i have forged bottom end, the rotating assembly is known to be lots stronger than the block, stock production 5.0 blocks are on the edge right around 500 or so rwhp, and can take the boost, 12psi all day long would be no prob the way it is now, with a nice set of out of the box heads and intake and 12 or so psi it would be right around the 500 mark

if u would go to the site i posted with that u would see he is comparing the car motor wise, not the car overal, i mean face it, u take a fox body and do simple bolt ons, exhaust, tires, gear and suspension work and u have a car that can dip into the 12's, true there is no fox from the showroom that is gonna run a 14.1, but a basicaly stock MOTORD mustang, not car, is capable of some impressive times, and funny u mention how mustangs go pick on the imports cuz they cant play with the real muscle, go check out the turbostangs site, just browese around check out some of the rides there, lots of 500+ rwhp daily driver stangs there, Trent, the mod of the site, has a daily driver, his only car a Gt thats turbo pulling a 10.82 at 141mph in the 1/4, i find that impressive for a car that has great manners for the street, idles smooth and is quiet, also the new cobra mustangs, 390hp stock. that aint no slouch, simple exhaust and pulley change and ur lookin at 450 hp, dont see how they cant keep up with the real muscle?? am i missin somthing here? Like i said, no flame intended, i just thought everyone would like to see the turbo kit i threw together for right around 2k plus another 600 for fuel system but i guess not, think ill just stick with the turbostangs forums.

I'm doing a turbo mustang. I got a MP 60-1 and plan to run no more than 10psi through my stock motor.

don't let one ******** ruin your experience here at hmt. although not everybody will be into what you're doing, and some people won't like it, there are still some of us who will appreciate it for what it is, we turbo our cars, you turboed yours, we're all the same, we just have different cars.

Yeah dude don't get pissed off cause they're are alot of ********* on this site that are pure Honda and they're ------- gay. Anything turbo is welcome here and a majority of the people giving you ---- drive 15 second cars.

Don't be afraid to come back and post your setup and any updates. I wish there were more varitey of turbo kits on this site but people get scared away by jealous douchebag's driving slow Honda's

I always loved the fox body stang. I don't like any from like 94'-up i think they are kind of ugly. I think the motors are great. I mean the L-98 was the chevy compeditor for the fox body stang if i'm not mistaken. I think then ford really had the gap filled on chevy. But I think the LT1 and LS1 where pretty fine engines.
I would love to get a fox body stang tho, my friend has a 4 cylinder one and he went through two transmissions on that thing. is that a common problem or does he drive like an *** hole?

I think the 4 banger tranny's were weak if I remember correctly. Tell him to get rid of that pile and swap in a 5.0!

Trust me my friend i already have but he bitches at me. He had an 88' integ that i wanted to turbo but of course i wasn't allowed to do that either .

the 5.0s are really dogish stock there is no denying it. my dads 1999 dodge dakota SLT v8 (318ci) wasnt that far behind. i mean comon...

gears/exhaust/intake help a lot on a 5.0 like everyone has said. none of those pictures work so i cant see it. but im savin up some money to put togther a kit for my mustang. id like to run 12 flat on stock motor. i heard the weakspot was the rod bolts.

simply adding some heads and a cam to a otherwise stock 5.0 can wake them up pretty good too.

302ci is pretty weak for me, not enough cubes. need to get that small block up around 400ci and im getti happier.

i worked 17 hours, and then went to the titty club and im drunk as ---- right now so i could ramble for hours, but im going to sleep.
