Yup, thats an Audi gate. It looks close to the upper hose, but its ok. Had to trim some of the fan though.
I wish I could say that it launches like a mother, but the clutch just wont take it. It does however launch very nasty in the SL gear, but its incredibly short, and I cant bang 2nd from that gear.
Ill put some pics up later of my old 'Madd Max' FMIC. Black and tucked away behind the grill

Steve (88dx) did all the welding and it looks purdy. Ill throw up some pics of the DP, its flawless.

Hows that external wastegate on that std manifold?
Took the HF mani to a welder. He hogged the O2 hole and welded on that 90' bend. Fabbed up a flange and bolted it to the WG. Its not braced yet (the gate must weigh like 10lbs lol), but will be shortly.
From what I understand, there is a a special kind of rod that can be used when welding to cast. It looks VERY solid, w/ good penetration.

would it be possible to get more pics of the tranny/xfer case and rear diff??
You bet. Im cracking the case open sometime soon. Wanna see what needs to be done to get a solid 50/50 split.
