praire dogs do get out of control, they are varmin, perfect target practice.
Myself I cannot see the need for the .204 Ruger at 4000+ fps when a off the shelf .22-250 does just as good.
Federal Prem. 40 gr NBT listed at 4150 fps, about a dollar a shot, or $20 a box.
No range was listed on the kills, likely 200-250 yards.

yeah but a 204 is so much more fun than a 22. if you have to go out and kill a little kinda cute animal you might as well have some fun with it so you dont feel as bad. that like if you have to hit a cute puppy you would rather do it in a monster truck than a civic just cuz the end result will be more extreme.
