I think the VTEC-E head is the one that shuts down an intake valve instead of having a low cam, but I haven't worked on one yet.

1st gen CRX HFs had roller rockers, they'd swap into the SI engine too (EW1/D15A?) if I remember correctly. Problem was the HF's were 8v, and the Si were 12v, so you needed to find a couple HF's. I wish the new D-series had a cheapo roller rocker available. There's gotta be something. Anyone have a few extra of those rockers laying around? I have a spare non-vtec head, I could maybe get a local machine shop to help me figure out how to make it work. If the rocker shaft is close to the same diameter, then bore/bush them to fit. Machine the widths correct, could use shims to make sure the rockers hit the valves correctly. Tricky part would be figuring out the cam geometry, maybe just copy the base circle from the VTEC-E cam and have the rest done to whatever specs, then have Delta grind it. Maybe even send them the head so they can take the measurements.

Yeah I didn't do that great of a job painting it like I did with that LS valve cover. Did that one have an actual vtec-e valve cover or something else Jon? I've got some sohc valve covers in the garage but I'm not sure if their the ones with the spark plug holes up front for that head. If I have one that'll work I'll make a new one and have that ****** bling blang some Juvenille's teeth.
