Default Vtec conversion???

Is it possible to convert a d16a6 to vtec from a d16z6? If so, what all would you need other than the solenoid? Thanks

this is nothing new.. done many times before. its called a Mini-me.

you can use a z6 or y8 head. I would go w/ the y8 since it's 1. Newer and 2. the a6 dizzy bolts up perfectly. For simplicity you use your a6 (obd0)dizzy along with matching intake manifold. hook it all up normally and run a VAFC to activate and tune vtec.

but if you really want you can go obd1 and use the z6 ecu.

search "Honda Mini-me" on yahoo or google.

look here aswell... http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html

not sure if u really need the FPR .
