I havent messed with the quirks of tuning software that much... But have you guys tried running in compatibilty mode

What exactly are you seeing..... whAT ARE THE ISSUES software or hardware related, or both

By the way, vista is EVERY bit as solid as XP EVER was just as early in its product cycle..... It wasnt until 4 or so years ago it was worth a ---- either.....

Vista never crashed on me. Ran it since it came out maybe even 2 weeks before it officially did. Runs good on C2Ds

Every version of Windows has been ---- when it first came out. 95 was "awesome" only because it was a huge jump from 3.1. ME was garbage and stayed garbage. The new Windows 7 is rumored to come out in 2009/2010...are they going to drop Vista like they did ME? It looks extremely similar to Vista.

Im running win7 at work currently, and while buggy... There is alot MORE functionality... Howevger in true windows fashion, its predescesor will be the defacto as its quirrks are worked out and everyone whines about it being ---- compared to the previous version (duh).... The one thing is that there was NOT ALOT of functionality punted from Longhorn to 7, some of it was rectiified with the development of FIJI, leaving more time for fixes inb 7

SOftware is what it is.... I can say though that fighting win7 has NOT been a pleasant experience for me.... But ---- it... We'll patch it later... LOL>...

I cant remember the support constraints for Vista..... Ill look tomorrow at work. WIn 7 is based on the same code though... Its not like the jump from NT to XP, or from XP to Longhorn.
