Microsoft is supposed to release build 7000 for public beta-testing soon, I'd just wait.

I don't think I'll like the taskbar on Windows 7, but the rest of it sounds good.

Bump as this interests me. I'm going to build a gaming machine, guess I need DX10 support.

All vista CDs are the same except for 32 and 64 bit differences. It chooses which version to install when you enter the cd-key and it checks which version the cd-key was made for and then automatically selects the version of vista for you.
I install all vista computers with an ultimate version from a Vista Starter Disc that i got free.

Here's how do it off any vista cd.
1. Boot from cd.
2. Click on Install Now
3. The part where it asks you to input the key, skip it and then choose the version of vista that you want which would be Ultimate because it's better than all the others.
4. Choose the partion/hard drive to install onto, format anything that is neccesary
5. Let the install finish, and then download a bios emulator online that will activate it without a problem. I have been doing this for a year now with no problems, get all of the updates and always pass windows genuine tests. The emulator tricks vista into thinking that you have a bios with a vista key integrated into it and automatically activates it.

I can post the emulator that I use without a problem on here or link to it, let me know if you guys want it.

Well, this ISO is from the same group that I got the last one from. It didn't even ask a serial (or already had one entered), I picked x64, and then installed. Didn't have to use any emulator or do anything extra.

The comments for this torrent said not to set up a password the first time and to skip the serial. I don't know what significance the password is, but I'd wait until it's installed to set one up.
