Well, a lot of people say that yet you never hear of anyone rushing anyone. I think it's one of those things that sound so simple when you're sitting at a computer desk reading about it, but don't think you'd really do it when a gun is pointed at you. You don't know they didn't try not to die. People always say "well, if it was me...." but think of all the times you've done ---- and said "i should have...." You just don't think as clearly when you're facing death, instinct is to panic

Unreal...

Somewhere, at some point in time...Darwinism should have taken the this waste of human sperm...but instead, he was pampered and protected into what he became.

It will probably turn out to be something stupid, over a girl some dumb ----.

digusting liberals have more blood on their hands. kids are packed into schools like sardeens totally defenseless.

coward police wait until the killer has ran out of ammo or kills himself to go in.

VA-TECH was a "gun free zone" apparently not. more like a kill zone. its only gun free for people who follow the law.

liberals are disgusting human beings, already dancing on the corpses of children pushing their socialist anti-gun, anti-american agendas.

one real american with a pistol could've stopped this entire episode, and the threat of a thousand real americans with pistols could've prevented the thought in this guy's head.

i don't feel safe at school or work without my pistol, and i cannot bring it to either (legally)... (i work in a federal building, like a sardeen ready for some idiot with a gun to kill a bunch of people while im completly defenseless)

Actually they say he was looking for his girl. Guess she skipped class or something... or maybe she was one of the killed.

I honestly dont see how having a gun with you all the time will isolate cases like this, the people involved came planned etc you in class and watching is most likely is what is gonna happen. Americans cant walk around being strapped for one reason we all treat each other like ----. The number of murders I promise would double especially acts of passion etc. This is truly a sad day and if it is true the shooting occured and they didnt lockdown the school that is just sad.

Exactly. I've been shot at and everything I thought I would/could do went out the window and my first instinct was to get the ---- out of the way. Everybody is a badass(including myself) and thinks they will do some heroic ---- and save the day, but when ---- hits the fan your mind doesn't work that way unless you are trained and experienced to do so.....or you're just seriously fucked up in the head and ready to die.

I feel the same way. Gun free zone, so that means if I abide by the law and won't ever do some crazy fucked up ---- like this I have to be a victim and let someone who doesn't give a ---- blow my brains out. I always think, what's worse, getting a violation for carrying in a prohibited zone if caught, which would be a slim chance, or being a victim and letting something like this happen.

we can walk around strapped.

people who do not learn the proper way to handle a firearm, will never respect it or use it correctly.

throughout history, lower gun ownership has created high violent crime (in the united states).

look at washington d.c. "gun free zone" more people get killed there by guns than anyother place in the country.

blood on their hands

Depending on the situation and chances of getting caught are slim. The only places I ever go that don't allow are bar/restaurants that serve more alcohol than food. Other than that I'm RARELY in a place that would get me a serious violation. Just driving out of town is a violation most of the time. If you drive through an indian reservation it's a violation. I was pulled over about 3 blocks from a casino on an indian reservation and told the cop I was going there and he didn't say a word about carrying my gun onto the property. Actually, he didn't even look at my gun. Just asked where it was at.

if someone was carrying at that school (if it was legal) they could have done something. w/out a gun your damn striaght i'm hiding like a little bitch. a student/teacher carrying might not have completley prevented the attack but think about it, 2 or 3 dead compared to 30+, you decide
