Default verizon lost/stolen phone list

alright, so my little cousin found a phone a while back. i was at their house today and he asked if i wanted to buy it(little bastard) so i called verizon to see if i could activate the phone. they told me its the lost/stolen phone list, so the only was to get it activated is to have the person who reported it call in and tell them to take it off. any ideas or is their anyway around this? or any of you nogs work at verizon or some ----?

No way around it, if it was att or tm then it would be no problem. Its just going to make a nice paper weight.

Call them and tell them that you need to unlock a phone. Be very nice to them, because by law they are required to give you the activation code, if they say no talk to their supervisor.
They'll take down your email address and you'll get the instructions and the code by email in like a day.
Worked for my BlackJackII before I switched to ATT.
BTW: T-Mobile sucks in WA

Google is you friend, haven't work at a phone place in a few months. When I did if a person was cool I would look it up for them and just print it for them.

It may be possible to change the ESN? I googled it a couple years ago and thought I found some articles saying it was possible, but some fucktard stole the phones. They were brand new, unreleased phones. They did not have an ESN because they were never intended to be sold, so I was going to try to give them one. There wasn't a single one of each of the 3 phone models on ebay, would have pulled some nice money... Only thing I wonder about is somehow ending up with an already used ESN. People used to clone them in the TDMA days...

You could go with a company that uses the verizon network. I had one for my prepaid "business" phone, but now I forget the name of the company :\ They use Verizon networks but don't have the lost/stolen lists.

Haha to you CDMA suckers. GSM you can use lost/stolen phones all day.
