Venture to Chevy's house and D16 Race block :-O
Ok.. so the story is.. a month or so ago chevy blew his engine up.. well i saw his post about needing an engine and said come pick up this d15b2 i had laying around.... so he did.. well now i was in need of somthing to put back in my friends car so i called him up and he said he didint end up using it so i could come get it back.... I got off the phone with him and started digging through my garage and found the ol hf mani with the T3 adapter plate.. so i said what the hell. lets turbo it. 5-6 phone calls later. i had basically everthing i needed.. and i didint pay a nickle. just traded ---- and begged.
We will be running a pw0 with turbo edit aat 10 lbs.. lets blow this bitch up...
So while i was at chevy's he said he had a d16z6 head just laying around i could have.. complete topend everything.. he said it was off his car when he got it and the old lady never changed the oil.. and damn.. i started cleaning this bitch and decided to get the camera.. ended up hot tanking it though.......
And leaving his house he gives me a call back up saying he has a dsm sidemount i could have.. THANKS AGIAN CHEVY!!

Decided to dip my finger in for a taste.

Picks of the current D16a6 Race block. lol. Its going to end up with low compression pistons. Eagle rods (already ordered), and a nice decking. of course top it off with a z6 head and a greddy 2mm head gasket.
And then my gsr... lol ok thats on the left side.. but this is just what i had of the turbo kit in the garage.. oil lines and everything else are not in the pic.
I ended up finding the manifold at around 3 0'clock and had everything to finish the kit in my hands by 8 tonight.. and at 2.. witch is when i started to write this, i just got done bolting the head onto to d15 block.. we have to of course blow that up and then throw the built a6 in right? of course.. i have never been wrong.. except for the tahoe rims being 16"..
Oh yea.. i'm also in the market for a front mount.. I have GSR rear disc conversion for trade... sloted rotors!!! Ebrake cables and everyhting.. brake lines.
