Default vac problem

well i have 97 ek y7 with a dsm t25,450s,uber. it was running good until i move like 2 weeks ago from mn to wy and since i got here its been messed up my vac used to pull 17-19 at idle ...now i start it an its at like 10 and just today it went to 9 im not sure if its the altitude or what or a leak somewhere. and i havent been driving it because i have bad compressor surge which never happened back home.. maybe my rfl is too big for this setup ive adjusted it but stil have surge anyways.. im just curious what you guys think about the vac.. i thought maybe my ringlands were fucked but im not smoking or anything starts and seems to drive fine both in an out of boost if i can actually get the bov to open. i did a compression test b4 i drove 1000 miles , but i dont know im gonna check it soon .. just seeing what you guys think.. if anyone has problems with high altitude .. i guess im like a mile higher here in southern wyoming near colorado .

it sounds like your vac signal line to your blow off valve is messed up.

Mainly because you said your blow off just stopped working, and you now are not drawing much vac. I'd definatly check for leaks. Get yourself a can a brake clean and goto town on that intake manifold.
