WTF? I might be "Captain Obvious" right now, but you do know that the actuator PUSHES and doesn't PULL so your wire thingy isn't going to do a damn thing,.....right? I don't know what the hell you're doing there.

You could do what I did. Dump the big *** saab actuator and get an IHI one. They're about 2/3 the size and are set to 8 psi, which is perfect for HMT setups.

Don't you have to worry about the movement of the engine too to have a effect on the actuator? Well I guess maybe if your mounts are really blown? :P

ROTFLMAO . Oh man that is funny. I hav never seen the WG mounted on the iner fender before. You should get a prize for that one.

But seriously, just go to NAPA and get a carb return spring, run that from the WG flaper to the compressor side of the turbo to a little bracket. You can get stiffer springs to up the boost, or shorten the one you have or run two. This is reliable and doesn't take up much space.

So explain to me why it is tied to an actuator again? What is the actuator doing that a stationary bolt/nut/hole/ whatever can't do? That makes no sense.....

Why would you drive around with your wastegate shut unless you just want to blow your motor?

when you boost the actuater gets longer, therefore letting the wastegate flapper open more (which is being pushed open by exhuast gases).

C'mon doc.
