You can easily teach yourself how to do body wrok. just work on some easy stuff first. might wanna find someone who knows their ---- to get tips from.

when i redid my rusted out quarter panels, i cut it out and made a new panel out of fiberglass. came out fairly mint. needs just a bit more glazing putty and it will be near perfect

My neighbor retouches cars at dealerships fora living. He said that he always hjears stories of peoples first time with bondo, they take half the can of filler and way to much hardner, and make a nice batch of useless crap. So your first time around, make sure u have plenty of materials. They also make a filler with fiber glass in it (he always refers to it as kitty hair) that works really well. YOu should use it on anything substanial that needs to be filled. This should work for filling holes and such, where bondo would crack. For example, I used it to fille the holes where my windshield fluid squirters used to be

Thanks, and I tried when I started out. Problem is that I am a complete beginner to cars and know nothing at all besides what I have read. So most of beginning posts were asking such lame beginner questions hat people flamed me and I got the impression that alot of the guys enjoy stupid and useless threads. So my bad.

And I work as a network security guy, so unless something goes wrong I'm just on the net.
