that's just a rumour, most cops will let it slide upto about 10 over, but there not obligated to, they can pull you for 5 or lessjust tell them you had just finished passing and were about to slow down as you got pulled over... if that's the truth, and if that was a passing lane.. may not get you out of it but worth a shot, your supposedly allowed about 10 (i think) over the speed limit while passing slower moving traffic

haha dude a speed limit is a speed limit. they can give you a ticket for 1mph over the limit. he is just doing his job.

nope I got brand new snow tires. and new all sesons in the back, side with the cops if you want ***. ice is ice that is not a good reason for a unsafe start. Hey if anybody knows the law let know on this one. I just checked my ticked and the road that that ticket was written on is incorrect. does this void the ticket? I would think it does considerig that would be a false charge?

man just own up and pay the damn fine, i got three ticket within 2 days of each other for speeding and for a noise ordinance( stereo way too ------- loud while sitting next to a cop) and i would have gotten out of two of them if i wouldn't have been such a smart ***. basically you saw a cop and though that it would be a good idea to do a burn out in front of him? wow thats ------- stupid, you got a ticket for this and now you will have to pay, the jusdge won't care because he and the cop both get paid from the money they collect in taxes, tickets and whatever. plus they look at your previous driving record and whatever, unless you can prove without a doubt that the cop was wrong and the ticket is invalid you will still end up paying a fine. just pay the fine.

Just pay it. You are required to be in control of your car at all times. If the roads were bad you shouldn't have been out. So if you slid into someone you think you shouldn't pay since the road was splippery?

Why would you fight an "unsafe start" ticket for a moving violation ticket....... WHy dont you say your throttle plate sticks and needs fixed or something....

I was at an intersection last week and there was this huge puddle in the middle of the street and I had to be a dumb *** so I dumped the clutch and popped the E break on a left turn. I got drift nasty and slid down the road, as I was driving away a cop pulled my over. I told em I've never driven in the rain and that I need new tires. The cop let me go with nothing, didn't even look at my tire's(brand new falken's). I know I got ----'n lucky so that will probly be my last public stunt.
