Default Uncertain Dream

Well Im unsure about boosting now. I've been saving so much money to boost my car and by new stuff to move out to an apartment for this spring. When I think about it im not really sure if I should boost my car or not. I can do so much more with that money and im in a predictament between boosting my car or just saving the money. I've learn so much from this forum and in my opinion I think its the best. All you guys are mad cool and you've been helpful teaching me the way of the turbo. but I dont know what should i do? Save or boost

I go through the same thing everytime I get a paycheck (which is only once a month). No one can really tell you what you should do, but what I ended up doing was using money that I "got" fr my car and money that I made for saving / buying ---- I needed. What I mean is I used my tax return, gift money, doing extra work on the side, etc. for my car. Or maybe start buying up parts as you can afford them, and then after a year or so boost the ride.

dude, don't go broke just to turbo your car, there are more important things. i pieced my first kit together really quick when i first became a member on this site, and by the time i got everything, i was struggling with bills, and hydrolocked my engine, and had to sell everything. i've been a member of this site for almost a year and have never had a turbo'd car just buy one piece at a time when you have some extra money, you can get most things for under 100 bucks, except for maybe a nice intercooler, manifold, and fuel management (unless you use an editor). after almost a year, i'm just now piecing together a new kit. my advice is don't put yourself in a bind just to turbo your car, unless you want to be living in it too. you got plenty of time, we're not going anywhere

oh yeah, or you could be like the other guy and beg us for money

I think that's what this site is all about, bo going into major debt to have a car that we like. Sure you get in a bind from time to time. But I don't owe a thing for my turbo because I built as I could afford it.

well i never really had a fast car. All my friends got trans am, gs-t, 350z and im like wow they can afford it. Well i've been working my *** off for over 2 years and I've made enough to finally move out on campus and boost my car plus some cosmetic. And now that i can im thinking "maybe i should just keep the money." I want my car to be fast and show off this spring at the races but man i keep thinking "whats the point if its just going to get me into more trouble?"

well man, as long as you have money saved, your always going to want to save it or think of something else that might be better to buy with it, especially if you worked hard to save the money, which, it sounds like you did. it's hard to see a lot of money in your account, and then see no money in your account, trust me, i go through this every two weeks :P just fix your car up then, i thought you were in some serious delima, like you still lived at home and wanted to get out, or something, dude, your in school, living on campus is more fun anyways
