pretty sick concept tho, i like it. I think it would only look dope on very well done up cars, and yes if its not lighter then cf hood then ---- it

I think it's funny, it says metal plexi glass.. But I've also seen completely transparent hoods that were like, transparent green, yellow, etc.... those looked good on old hot rods, never seen em on an import though.

indeed it does, but I have never seen a clear metal hood. So what i figure is that the reinforcments on the bottom are metal, if it has any reinforcements at all, which i doubt. Or maybe the non clear parts are a metal plastic composite type material. I dunno. If it is indeed light, I stand by my statement

...and that ---- is lame, sounds like a tacky idea to me. The ad doesn't even have an actual picture of it on a car, you can tell they photoshopped that pic they have on there.
