Default typical. what to do what to do....

Well...this is typical for me.
I was thinking of boosting my D16Z5 (zc)...so a while back, I bought a turbo kit from a HMT member.
In the meantime... I blew my D16. 2 weeks back I got another D16...but last weekend I had this sweet deal on a B16, that I just couldn't resist.
I forgot all about the turbo....it was taking forever to get here anyway.
So...this weekend...the B16 is going in, and this morning the mail man delivered me the D16 turbo kit!
Damn man...feels like I'm being reminded about an old friend that died.
One moment you're walking to the grocery store, wondering if your car will ever drive again..the next moment I have 2 engines lined up to go in, and a turbo kit, that won't fit the engine that's going in.

I should sell the turbo and manifold,...keep the rest for when I can afford to boost the B. But I wanna keep it all to myself!! (evil laugh)

All those goodies...still feel sad. I need a shrink. Or perhaps I just need to get that goddamn car running, so I can whip it around some.

I could make pics....don't forget I'm in europe huh

It's a TD05...kinda weird flange. I could part it with the turbo..but it's ------- hard for the 'buyer' to find a new turbo for it over here.

I'll make pics.
It's a TD05, no shaft play (rebuilt few K miles ago)
BmC manifold. No oil lines, wastegate actuator included.

Shipping to here set me back 60 bucks.

Well...here are the pics.
It's all a bit raunchy, and haven't had the time to clean it up yet.

BmC mani, TD05H turbo.

fins look really good.

This side looks good too...but is that carbon buildup normal like that?
I have the BMC downpipe, and 2,5" mandrels ready to go too

Still not sure what I'm gonna do. I should get me a beater, and swap in the D16Z5 I have in storage, and slam that baby on there. Keep the B16 N/A.
Awww......choices choices!!
