normal D15 rods have a smaller rod journal, so only crowers will fit.

Besides, D15 have THREE different rod journal sizes, which one do you have?

since i've planed on doing an upgrade on my d15b2 block to go with the a6 gude
head both crower and egale make rods for the d15, but u have to special order them. the cost for the egales or 750.00 and the crower are about 700.00 and YES
i have talked to both companys about this.the problem is it would be cheaper to by an a6 block and build it,just to save money,or go all out and build the d15 and tell the ------- u race that he just got beat by a d15 my 2 cents

The a6 is the us SI motor right just the same as the z6 in canada. tell me if i'm wrong well bottom line is 700 for rods is more than i can spend right now I have a very lmtd budget for this buildup i'm trying to do and it's my first so want the strogest bottom end I can for cheap. the purpose of this topic was basically to find if i can save money by going with ls rods or type r rods or whatever is cheaper. instead of custom rods from eagle. I would not be able to afford those until the wife get her *** out of school in 2yrs. I want to turbo my car and make it as reliable as possible thanks for the info so far guys

$700 for Crower and $750 for Eagles??

You think Eagle is just getting them from Crower?

I do.

Crower Econo-Billets = Eagle.
