I figure half the people who join this thread will bash but the first two points I wanna make are that Im bored. Ive got nothing going right now and I want a project like this.

Right now I have a built d16a6 with a t3/t04E 57 trim and its probably up @ 300whp or so but for my type of driving its really no fun. 1st feels like N/a, 2nd only builds 12 lbs and third has some weird problems, along with traction which basically is knowwhere to be found

I was thinking of switchin over to a twin turbo setup mostly because it would be very different and I thikn it could spool SIGNIFICANTLY faster.

The car is daily driven and pretty much never will see the track as its so far away.

I need some opinions on running a basic twin IHI or KKK set of turbos in parallel. Where they both get 2 cylinders, downpipes merged, charge piping merged so I can retain a regular intercooler.

I would be looking to run 15psi or so. But I just want to have fun with the car, rip on stoplights, having fun on windy roads etc.

Looking to make boost before 2500 or so

I am at a loss on how boost controll would be accomplished though. I think a 35mm wastegate that I have now would work, but combining it into the manifolds could be tricky.

Any advise appreciated. Im just looking for some fun for a winter project.

Twin turbos are suited for V8's.

Somebody on this site started the install twin snails on a Civic.
I dont remember who it was.

I thought Whitey and Abaz have both done twin turbo setups?

Not worth doing IMO, like already stated a ball bearing turbo would do the trick, like a GT28RS.

how would spinning 2 turbos produce faster spool than 1 snail? you only have a 1.6L....
