Default Twin turbo airplane

just thought everyone might want to see a twin turbo airplane. its 550cu.in. flat 6, 400hp 8:1 compression. boost level is depending on how high you are. the turbos are really only for above 10,000 feet, but they do boost a little at full throttle4-5 psi i think.

only one wastegate for both turbos

In airplaines the pilot can control the mixture with a lever right inside the cab, pretty sweet stuff.

turbo and supercharged piston engines have been used in planes since WWII

in planes with no turbos you adjust the mixture with a lever next to the throttle. the higher you go the more you lean it . turbo planes also have the same mixture and you richen it up a little as you up the boost for more altitude. most turbo planes have oxygen systems for the cabin too. the turbos are checked very often for shaft play and they get plenty of idel cool down time before being shut off. the engine really doesnt see more than 1500 rpm after landing.
