Default turboed harley on way....need help

I know i haven't been on lately but i been real busy getting parts for the turboed harley project. So far i got my turbo ( garret gt14 only 14 lbs ) , my new carb ,B.O.V. and im working on the headers as we speak. My questions are.

1. Is there a manual boost guage to where i can see what boost the turbo is set at ,so i won't blow my motor. Can't find one and i was checking to see what you guys use.

2. The turbo doesn't have a outlet in the intake houseing to hook up to the wastegate. Could i just hook up the wastegate line to a vacum line along with the B.O.V. yes its going to have a B.O.V.

Any and all help is appreciated guys ....thanks

you could drill and tap the outlet yourself for the wastegate vacuum source. also at advance auto there is a vacuum tester pumpo they sell that will tell ou exactly when the wastegate opens. its like 12 bucks

turbo harley equals delicious

I kinda figured i could drill and tap the wastegate plumbing ,just wanted a second opinion. Thanks for the info on the vac pump ,i will ck that out tomorrow. Im hoping the headers will be done soon. After i get the headers and intake to the carb setup done then i just have to wait and build the motor. Then bolt her right up.

you can use a bike tire pump... as long as it has a lil gauge with it

Im already getting a ---- load of people wanting to see it ,hell they laugh when i show them the turbo cause they know im going to do it. Apparently i will be the only one around here with a turboed harley. The sound of a harley doesn't bother me i love them cause they are so damn easy to work on ,no water cooling ---- or huge fairing ,just plain simple function and looks.
