Both sites have something to bring to the table, and I think that withoug one the other one would become overloaded with topics and posts. A question about a greddy kit here would go over about as well as a question about custom fabbing an adaptor plate so you can keep your AC intact over on the other site. By having both sites, people of different capabilities and knowledge can learn and discuss boosting their cars.
As for people saying that one site sucks etc. etc. Just don't go to the other site. Worst case scenario you check out the current posts, and if nothing appeals to you then you leave.

just my .02
I as well am on both and agree. Although got most of my information on turboing my car here. Its still a good source of info whether or not if its kit related or not.

Probably because he is using a custom setup. Not everyone on turbod16 uses greddy, apexi, drag, etc. And many who do use parts from those kits, only use half of the parts provided as a starting part and change the rest for a more robust solution - which makes sense if you get the kit cheap enough. One person at that forum went off the deep end (more than once), but I'd hate to think that everyone views him as representing the forum as a whole. He doesn't. It is sad how many posts there are getting to be here about *insert forum* sucks this and sucks that. I just don't get the heated competition. Seems that the aim everywhere should be to ------ tuner knowledge. I also like both sites (and HT too - gahhh!) for their individual merits. Peace.
