i only said that because someone was talking about turboing an RC car...I've never seen a 4 stroke RC car.....yet

thats the truth..I used to have an AWD HPI mini civic...fast as hell, gas of course, but it was more fun to build than to drive.

yeah, i've got a traxxas 4-tec with an integra type r body and replica type r rims. it looks phat as hell, but they lose their fun level after a while.

that's when you put the 2 speed tranny in it. i have a nitro RS4 with a ferrari 360 body on it. thing hauls ***. like was said before, they don't need a turbo =)

I would like to say my rc engine is 4 stroke but not sure although it does spin 36 grand. As for small turbos get one off of an old chrysler New yorker or what ever those things are like micro. The compressor side looks like 1.5 inches thick and the thing is no more than maybe 5-6 inches in diameter.

as far as turbocharging a bike engine, the one we used on the 250 was the IHI RBH31 from the chevy sprint. it' s made for a 1.0L, but since our redline was 19,000 instead of 5000, we figured the airflow would be about the same. didn't spool till like 8000 rpm, but screamed like a banshee after that..

that's a project i wanna do someday. not necessarily a gokart, but something like a triumph spitfire with a turbo yamaha R1 engine and gearbox in it. i'd think that megasquirt could handle the fuel injection...
