Really? LN3 Naturally Aspirated
It was in Holdens, into the 1990s. It produced 165 hp (123 kW) from 1988 through 1991. Guess I'm just stupid :P

your quite correct, its a RWD all cast iron block, 2 valves per cyclinder and stock it makes 115rwkw(mine does anyway)
runs a 15.72, 1/4 mile

its a LN3, aka 3800... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:3...bonneville.JPG
except redesigned for RWD by holden

its a single cam shaft which uses pushrods, not overhead its also v90 configuration

(similar to the 88 buicks)

the Grand national heads bolt straight up to it, which im considering investing in some stage 2 heads (about $1700 AUD imported) but the ports are HUGEEE!!!!

car weighs 1300kg, and the transmissions were quite strong (Turbo700)

ive had a chat with some people who have turbo'd this engine and due to its low compression it runs 12s the cam shaft is suited for boost and pretty much it cries booost me!!!!!!!

found someone to do lazer cut all my flanges and bend my cooler piping/dump pipe

picking the turbo + wastegate up on wedensday

it should spool round 3000rpm and make max power round 4500-5000rpm, engine redlines at 5500rpm but mine goes to 6000rpm :P
