the Turbo HF is down.....for LSVTEC (pics)
well the turbo or someshit was making some scary noises so i slapped my 4dr together (in the process stealing parts from the CRX like: boost gauge, distributor, PLX, small ----...).
started off by pulling off the turbo...
looked fucked up but still usuable looked like it had sucked something in but not resently...time for a rebuild i guess...
so the CRX is down...HEY I HAVE AN IDEA! lets put a VTEC head on it!!!
off with the head!
'90 Integra B18A1 head FOR SALE!! complete...~120K miles...
here she is sitting in the back of the beater getting ready for the ride over to the machine shop for a couple new valves and a couple angles on them while we are at it...
the head is a PR3 from a 92 Integra GSR w/B17A1
also sence funds are running low...
umm, yeah ghetto modified B17/B16 OBD0 style manifold... i hate that ------ cold idle valve thing Honda desided to put on the intake manifold so i will be bypassing it. oh and i will be eliminating heat (all the coolant lines) from the manifold to keep intake temps lower. so anyway just fill the holes with...you guessed it JB Weld
i will be getting a custom intake manifold in the future...
thats it for now... i will keep you updated...

btw this is the reason for the trip to the machine shop...i didnt do it, it came like that...and got a hell of a deal...
the dealerships are smokin some wierd crack...valve steam seals: intakes $1.50ish each, exhaust $5.30ish each... i expect them to be pricey but wtf? there is a 4 dollar difference on those bastards...
