there whole ecosystem will be fucked for a long time, all the trash that was sucked back into the ocean etc... it will take along time for them to be able to recover from this.

Also it apparently jolted the earths axis like an inch and speed the rotation of the earth like by a millisecond. My not sound like much but damn you socal'er just wait cuz your time is coming when your all gonna be underwater and rocking rowboats :P

some countries perform rituals where they like sprinkle some kind of substance or some ---- on em.. then they say prayers and hold a little ceremony type deal for all the dead.. and then i guess they either bury them or burn them
