The guy was breaking the law he was putting in his own septic tank. You have to be a liscensed contractor to do it and it costs about 5k to have done because all contractors know they have you by the *****.
But they didn't have the right to trespass then they could have got a warrent that day for it though. The guy was trying to hide what he was doing and he'd probably just got back from the library reading up on tresspassing laws. thus why he was so versed in particulers.
If he has a good lawyer they won't be able to use anything they found that day so if he's smart he'd better have got it done and covered back up after they left.

I don't think they should be allowed on his property and it's obvious the cop didn't have a ------- clue either.
Anybody know what happened with this?

If you do any major work on a house or anything major to do with water you need to get a permit and do things to code.. I'm pretty sure you also need to GIVE ACCESS for inspectors to come check it out if need be and if the inspector doesnt like whats going on they can put a stop on the project until you do get a permit. I think its ok to do it yourself, but you probably need a permit, and that cop should have addressed that
