Default Transmissions - since we're on the subject (sort of)

will a 92-95 Z6 tranny fit on a 96-00 Y8 ?

Did honda change the bolt pattern or something to make this an awkward or impossible fit?

i'm going through a similar situation as beerbongskickass, I'd like to swap on a beater tranny for a few weeks so i can build up my Y8 tranny but i don't want to buy one and have it not fit. or go through all the trouble of getting one and taking mine off just to have to put it back on 'cause the stupid thing won't fit.

Yes, it will work. You need to play musical motor mounts though.
