Default Trance's HMT project

Alright guy's, you've officially done it again. Corrupted another individual into turbocharging his vehichle! I fired it up this morning and probably pissed the hell off out of the neighbors... But ah well! :P
Fired right up and I let it idle until opperating temp. The turbo's making a funny squeeking sound at idle but once I accelerate past idle it goes away. I also blew a coolant hose that runs to the turbo, so I'll be mending that and pics will be on their way!
I havn't boosted yet because I'm running open downpipe without my wideband right now until I finish the exhaust, but I'm sure when I do, it will be very satisfying after all that work.
Thanks HMT for everything you've done and taught me. This will not be the last project though. Theres a few more being worked on as we speak

Lol ok guy's ok, I have to get the film developed and then I'll upload them to the site. I'm still a cheapass who buy's those disposable cameras for everything :P
Oh yeah and I got a little ballsy and decided to try boosting. Oh lord is it great. It held a steady 7 psi with no detonation smoking or any of the bullshit. I had a slight oil leak that I took care of, and I've still got to pick up a different fitting to re-locate the vacuum line on my wastegate away from the manifold, but other than that this setup is going to be so much fun .
Pics will be up soon guy's I know the wait is horrible

Ok guy's heres some pics. As you can probably tell I'm no photographer :P I really should look into upgrading my disposable cameras to a digicam some time Here we go--

Heres a shot of me doing some bodywork after I got pissed during my install. I needed to go grind something.

Heres a shot of my sexy flat black downpipe that I fabbed up. Sort of a bitch since my exhaust housing is on the drivers side.

Yes, even my dog likes the downpipe. That was before it was painted.

Ah yes the dreaded oil pan fitting that leaked after I welded it.

A bit of homemade gasket making going on here to solve the oil leak problem. The back of a notebook worked perfectly, and a bit of JB weld got me up and running with no more oil leaks...

That is until I fired up the beast and got it to operating temperature and actually blew a coolant line to the turbo This is an engine bay shot after the messy coolant spewed everywhere. "Cleanup in isle 5"! Nothing a few of those hose clamps on the valve cover wouldn't fix

Heres a shot of my Tyrus front mount sitting pretty behind my front end. Don't mind the body filler on the doors. I removed and welded up the side moldings so I'm not done with the bodywork end of the car yet.

heres another shot of my engine bay. I really need to get some better quality pics for you guy's.

And the final shot of my front end conversion. As you can see I live in the hood. it's a high crime area over run by gangs, prostitutes, and drug addicts
Don't worry HMT I will be back with better pics and a video. Next up on the list for HMT projects is that unsuspecting flat black Isuzu Rodeo next to my car Thats my brothers and we've got it injecting a bit of N02 for a lil' kick in the *****. Just waiting on the bottle to arrive and I'll get a clip of that too.
