Traction Control Systems

Re:Traction Control Systems
traction control is different from a limited slip.
TCS is an advancement on ABS technology. It uses the same sensors in the wheels to detect slipping and can apply the brakes, cut engine power, or divide power between the wheels (that would be where it acts through a 4 wheel drive diff.).
TCS is a pain in the ***, not worth it if you want to drag. Because if you ever ever try to burn/peel out, your car will freak out because your tires are slipping so much and start applying the brakes to stop you.
Corvettes have this feature, and if the driver is a real dumb *** when he tries to race you and forgets to disable it, he doesn't go to far from a stoplight!
