i was running 9.0 @85 mph but that was spinning entirely thru the first 2 gears and with like a 2.4 60 ft on the accord on 13psi, i think you should be running faster than that also.

Bone stock Integra LS, on street tires, in the hands of talented drivers can hit flat 10's in the 1/8th. I've seen it happen with a 93 DA, and a 98 DB, with my own eyes.

1) Wheel hop is baaad. Not just traction, but busted diff/axles. I like you enough that I'd be forced to come off one of my 90-91 LS boxes, if you broke one of yours, and I don't want to do that. Do us both a favor and beef up your bushings/suspension.

2) A little spin is okay, but (wheelhop aside) the bogging is what kills your launch. As long as the engine isn't revving everywhere and you're practically sitting still, a little wheelspin is *good*. Like Bone said, best tire grip is at 10% wheelspin.

Wheel hop is the devil. Get some Energy Suspension of Prothane bushings for your LCAs, make sure your ball joints don't have any slop, and either drop the money on a set of radius rods or you can get decent results with $12 worth of Energy Suspension radius rod bushings.

The super stiff 80A durometer inserts are all well and good, and needed past a certain level, but I don't think you're at that level yet.
I found a HUGE improvement in wheel hop by filling the engine mounts. Definitly worth the $5 and weekend that it took.

It's a B-swapped ED chassis, krusty. The motor mounts are HASport, and solid. Probably 68A durometer street rubber, but solider than stock mounts of any year.

What's goin on here?

That was my best run of the day my first time ever at the track.
Stock internals B16
Intake
2.25" side exit exhaust
Zdyne Swap ECU
2000lbs HF CRX
Y1 tranny

Not a bad time for a N/A B16 CRX but it definately had a lot more left in it since I couldn't hook up in 1st or 2nd gear at all since I was running on some heavy *** motegi 16" wheels with cumhoe 712 low profile tires.

I don't really understand why you didn't run much faster than me...could have something to do with the tranny and wheelhop. I guess this puts to rest the longer gears are better for turbo myth, atleast in this case.

Get some more seat time in, you should be doing better than that.

I just re-read your post and a B16 w/ a 60 shot ran 9.7? Maybe I've got a freak motor. :1

I was trapping only 72.46mph on my automatic Saab 9000 when I ran a 9.6 1/8

hmm. I'm gonna adjust my toe tomorrow and buy myself some radius rod bushings soon and see if that helps. I'll also only run with the street tires cold from now on. No warming up at all. If I do need a new tranny, I'll make sure to ask you joey I'm gonna revuild the turbo before I run it again too. Get a damn good rebuild from blaastperformance.com for $150 shipped with a ceramic coated center section..
