Went to the junkyard to pick up a thermostat housing, since it is just starting to get nice out no one has gone through all the cars that came in over the winter, I found some toys so tomorrow I'm going back.

1-SAAB 900 Turbo, whole car is intact
4-DSM's with turbos and intercoolers
10ish-1G DSM BOVs

Ebay here I come.

i found a turbo today that had a external type wastegate build into the exhaust side, it looked like a miniature hsk WG. what do you think its from?

****-nope, I just closed the hood threw some mud on the car (over the turbo badges, but made it just look random) and told the guys I'd be back tomorrow (today) to strip the car.

Well, I just called the junkyard and told them I'd be out there to get those turbos and the guy told me that they would be $250 each, ---- that, there isn't even a guarantee that they will work. So, I'm going to get out there and see if I can get a ---- ton of BOVs.

Thats the one thing i hate about junk yards, as soon as they catch onto whats in demand the price goes up X10. Otherwise if no one buys it, it sits and rotts or gets crushed/thrown away. I always play dumb and never give out to much info depending on what I'm buying.
