If the whole muffler weighs under 6 pounds then logic would tell you that the actual Ti "can" is probably less than 1 pound. Previous to that I was the Operations Manager for Canada's largest off highway wheel builder (open pit mining trucks). I have designed sub-arc and MIG assembly workstations. Has anyone on here ever seen a Submerged Arc process? We were welding 1.125" plate in 2 passes at 2 inches/ second.

Your an idiot. If only 16% of your muffler is titanium than its not a titanium muffler. And its low grade cheap ***** made garbage at that. My company does nothing but machine titanium and carbon fiber and people call all the time begging to buy our titanium scraps and we won't even sell it for $50 a pound in scrap. Your "baller" muffler is worth less than nothing. I'll post pics tomorrow of what real titanium looks like in the meantime here's some carbon fiber scrap I'm making my airbox out of that cost 500x more than your gay muffler
