Just tossing out an idea. I haven't had the chance to try it myself, yet...

Yeah, I hear very good things about the Rt-615s, Bizzar were you using the old or the new?

Yeah, it might work. I know sodapop works pretty well too on the cheap, dunno if that would dry up quick enough either if you were doing a burnout on it.

bfg drag radials hook up the best on the street but i would only buy them if you have money to change them every oil change. the nittos 555r's hook up almost as good but last 3 times as long as the bfg's

At 300whp they can barely break them loose at the top of second (full spool) and nothing in 3rd. Great tires well worth the pricetag. They kick *** in the rain too.
Did you have the RT-615? or the old poorly design compound peices of ----?

I know many people running RT-615s with more then 270whp and have no complaints.

Azenis have a stiffer sidewall than a DR, and are less forgiving of bad alignments. From 15 to 20 roll they are better than BFGs. ZERO SUSPENSION SLOP and ALIGNMENT WITH CAMBER ADJUSTMENT will get you halfway there. Next you play with springrates which cause changes in idealcamber settings as the nose stops coming up as high. Racecars run 900 plus rear springs, but streetcars you play with until you find something you can live with cuz stiff rears are unpleasant and squirrelly. Look to m&h DOT slicks, and save the trackbite for moneyraces or dead tires because two days later tires are hard as Big Wheels.
