1st time: couple hours (2-ish)

all the next times: < 40mins

ur lucky u can get ur crank pulley bolt loose....i cant get mine to budge at all...oh well..

It was hard but all you got to do is jam a screw driver in the flywheel. You got to remove the flywheel cover under the car. (At least on my Civic.) Then the engine will stop rotating. I used the tube from the handel on my floor jack and a socket wrench with a 1/2 drive. I called my "big guy" friend and he did it for me. It took a while but we got it off.

I went to the hardware store but couldn't find anything. I decided to JB Weld the socket onto the bolt.I'm waiting for it to dry, I hope this works. Once the tensioner pulley is loose I'll buy a new bolt and retorque the new bolt, will this work? How do I put the right tension on the belt so this doesn't happen again?

craftsman sells sockets that extract rounded off bolts, i did the same thing to my friends b18c5 tensioner and used that tool and i got it first try, go to sears hardware, they have em cheap.
