my whole thing about b16's is i love torque to much to go with a straight vtec motor it would have to be hybrid for me to even consider

well truthfully i am almost done with honda.. i may just stick with the zc and finish the car as is.. i need to get my other ek 4dr fixed so i can sell it and move on to something else..i just want some extra power without spending loads more cash on a 20 year old platform. something fun and will get me where i need to go.. was thinking of swappign because there isnt much more i can do to the zc as there was never huge support in the aftermarket for it..

B20/vtec.Get some ARP rod bolts,bearings,rings,high comp cast pistons few hundred buck for machine work and you can get that setup together for cheap.B16 heads are pretty cheap these days and im sure if yo dig around you could come up with some cams for cheap.I would almost kinda like to build a allmotor CRX

i have also thought about the b20/vtec as i am seeing more and more b16 heads for under $300.. any thing particular to worry about? btween the B and Z i know the Z is higher compression.. but i am also not looking to rebuild anthing.. i basically want to get the block throw the conversion kit and head on it and drive.. i am not looking for a 9k screamer just something for fun that has plenty of power..

Plenty of stuff for the zc just not off the shelf. A custom box plenum will own any of the junk made in china. Finish the zc make some good power. Smile like a school girl.

this is homemade turbo ***** you will get more power out of a cheapass 1000 setup than every "off the shelf" b16 "performance" part
