Default Thoughts about Lighten Flywheels on Boost..

well, AFTER SEARCHING and READING Threads, I came to a conclusion that there is always two sides of the story. Some say no because its boosted, some say yes....

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND a Lighten Flywheel? WHY AND WHY NOT?

Tony

p.s.

getting my Clutch in a week here, I want to see if I should throw a lighter wheel on there as well too..

D16y7 Boosted..

From the arguments I've seen, seems like stock "heavy" flywheel works best.

i said put it on only because I could care less what everyone said. Just try it and see if u like it

same goes back then when i ask everyone if i can use a t3/04e on a singal cam and everyone said it`s not going to spool early enough blah blah, but it wasn`t all that bad after i tried it.

My view on it... It's a flywheel, who gives a ----!

I would worry more about your fuel management, tuning, tires, suspension, etc... I could probably find a bunch of things you should do to your car besides worry about your flywheel.

Just keep your setup simple.

how much traction you have? A Light flywheel is a bandaid for shitty launch traction
