Im a web developer and have been with a company for about 4 years making about 35k.

Last year, I moved to AL and my boss said I could keep my job and work from home here. Now im making 37k, but i get NO BENEFITS, no overtime and im working 50-60hrs per week.

The job sucks b/c my boss makes outrageous claims about how fast we can program sites (im the only programmer). so I have to bust *** all the time to make stuff work.

I have numerous VERY LARGE web applications that well...mess up from time to time and I have to support each and every one of them, so Im also the only support guy.

Over the past 4 weeks, Ive been writing a particular site. say 50hrs a week for 4 weeks. thats 200hrs * 18/hr. Thats $3600. The client slipped and told me that he is being charged $17k for the work

I know my boss has to make his money too, but thats robbery. I pretty much AM the company. One day i'll grow ***** and quit

I WAS a temp at a factory, but this monday when I tryed to clock in, the clock read "unknown employee" so they were like, "oh yeah we hired a bunch of temps and you and your wife aren't on that list. shitcanned. Oh well, hopefully I will be getting this sweet cable installer's job........

My worst job was working as a metal fabricator. We would build construction steel work from 6:00 am until 40 pm. There nothing quite like welding for 8 hours day in day out when its 85 degrees in there and your wearing boots pants gloves long sleeves and a helmet, not too mention your welding with a MIG gun that can weld anything up to 2in thick.That throws some serious heat! That was seriously bad for my health, i would come home covered in black ----. Everytime i blew my nose black snot came out. I'm sure i inhaled a fair amount of it too. I worked there for 2 summers before i quit all together. I thought it was bullshit that I was only making $8.00 an hour when i was only 16 and 17 and building the same ---- as everyone else who was 3 times my age and making $17 an hour. I asked for $9.00 they said no so i quit. Greates part is that the supervisor that told me no got fired.

I do interior house painting with my friends Dad's company. I work with my best friend, his brother, and his brothers friend. I make pretty stupid money for what I do. Sometimes we work 60 hours a week, and sometimes we have weeks like this where we don't work at all. So I sit home all day and pimp oil lines. I'm pretty fortunate that when we don't have work I don't have to worry about money or anything.

I don't work right now. ------ school. But I used to work at a gas station. The boss was a dick head, but we used to turn the garage into a speed shop at night time, we used to steal all the ---- from the shop that we wanted, and I used to just sit on my *** all day until a full serve customer came in. It was cool to see some dumb bitch drive away with the nozzle still stuck in her car.

Ah, the black snot. Too much dremeling gives me black snot. Its a nice change from the clear, slightly yellow tint. I mean...who wants the same colored snot day after day.
