Default things that go bump in the night...

So my wife and I were wakened up this morning at about 5am from the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs. First thing we both thought was our son got out of his crib and was crawling down the stairs. So as soon as I got out of bed the sound then acted like whoever was in the hallway turned around and started walking back downstairs and then a few steps on the first floor and it stopped. So as soon as I tossed some clothes on and turned on the light. My son was standing up in his crib awake. Hmmmm well at least he was in his bed. But now the question is who or what was walking on the stairs.
So this is where it gets more weird. I was thinking maybe it was our lab and was walking up stairs and maybe after hearing me she turned back around. She knows she's not allowed upstairs. So I get down to the first floor and she's in the kitchen sleeping on her pillow. Mind you that there's a baby gate going into the kitchen so it couldn't of been her. Not to mention she was sleeping and the gate was closed so that rules her out. Now maybe it was our daughter cause sometime when she gets sick, she walk up to the stairs and let up know if she yacked or doesn't feel good. So I open up her door and she's zonked out and not to mention I can tell when she's up and walking around cause she's got lead feet and only knows how to slam doors when she closes them.
So now I'm bugging out and check all the doors check out the rest of the house and everything is fine. Being it's snowy outside I check for footprints by the doors and nothing and it's bone dry by the doors. Windows are all locked. Not to mention our dog is pretty good when people are by the house and letting herself be known. But she was out until I turned the kitchen light on. I usually don't get weirded or freaked out but this got me kinda shaking in my shoes. Our house was built in 1915 so who knows what happened. We've live here for almost 7 years and never experienced anything freaky like this before. My wife told me when we first moved in that she saw an old man in the bathroom but nothing ever since them. Note you, I told her if she ever sees any ghost or anything like that....don't tell me cause it freaks the ---- out of me. Not to mention I even asked when we were signing our mortgage papers at closing I even asked if someone died in the house would they have to release that info just cause I didn't want anything to worry about. Yeah I'm weird like that. So anyone ever had any experiences like this?

Gov't wouldn't send them a bailout check so they foreclosed on the firehouse and the repo man took the ecto1. Not to mention their based out of NYC and I'm in Wi. I'm just waiting for the walls to start bleeding and voices saying "redrum" and "nignog". Then I'm packing up and getting the ---- out of Dodge.

Yeah, pull up your teepee and pitch that ****** up far far away. lol. Honestly I called my mom and she brought over some sweet grass which is supposed to ward away evil spirits and whatnot. Then my wife called up her mom and she's suppose to come over and smudge the house. We're both native but from different tribes. So different tribes have different rituals for things like this. I told my wife I was gonna get a Ouji board and tell whoever's here to get bent and expect a call-a-thon if he pulls this ---- again.

I told my wife a few things before when looking for a house...nothing near a graveyard, nothing were anybody died in, and no old dead guys in the bathrooms. Apparently she forgot the last one. I mean for the being nearly a hundred years old someone had to die here. The house was also in the same family up until 3 years before we bought the house. My wife never told me cause I told her not to tell me things like that cause I've never step another foot into the house ever again. Even though I watch all those ghost hunter shows and whatnot. I'm a big scaredy cat when it comes to ---- like this. So being a good wife, she listened and never told me. She was like I only saw him once and he was just standing there in some early 1900's clothing with a black tophat on but haven't seen him back ever since then. I think I should of amendment the rule under situations like that and had her tell me.

Ghosts are scary as ----. From what I hear they probably won't ---- you up though. I think there's a law that says you have to tell the buyer if some1 died in the house. Sue?
