My EF hatch got broken to back in the day also. Punched the lock, stuck a screw driver between the handle and the door and bent the hell out of my door. The whole time the damn sunroof was wide open.

I was going to work and locked my keys in my ef.
I was holding a lunch bag and inside was a spoon for my del monte fruit cup.
Using this spoon and a wiper blade I opened the car.

I open my delsol with bare fingers in 30 secs

Just pull the window, open the roof, and then open the door.
Very easy


Had an ------- try to steal my $50 shucks special radio, they took off the faceplate and weren't smart enough to pull that ---- out. They didn't know that to install/remove del sol radio you got to take apart the center console. Next, they went for the trunk to get my old school phoenix golds out. My year del sol doesn't have a trunk realease and only opens with a key. So they failed and left my car unharmed.

I don't understand why somebody would bust the window like that if he/she already got the door pry out.
