Yea I don't think its any kind of joke either, the place was a total shithole about 60 years ago until they figured out they were sitting on one huge oil field. Now they are focusing more on tourism and places like Dubai are blowing up, soo much money there... From what I have read it is actually fairly Americanized and free compared to a lot of the other muslim country's.
