commonplace here in wisconsin. they are two strokes so if you go under just kill the engine before it eats any water and then just change the fluids. big fines if you go under though. dnr doesnt like oil in the water.

Damn so if you ---- it up not only do you have to tear down replace fluids or whatever but you gotta pay a fine for ------- up too huh?
Ive seen them on the Drag strip before but I damn sure didnt think they would get across the water like that. let alone the fact that there is a league or organized events for it. ------ awesome

I've put a snowmobile in the lake a few years ago ('79 Yamaha Enticer 250). I busted *** to get it out before the dnr saw it and almost got hypothermia. Just drained the gas/oil tanks, pulled the motor and drained it out. Sled ran a hell of a lot better afterwards too.
