these cops searched my garage
I woke up to find two "detectives" at my front door this morning
they told me that my names been passed around with all the car thefts in my area
I was just like wtf i dont have anything stolen
then the go on about how im selling all this stuff on craigslist, and always sell cars, and i was just like so that means i steal cars?
so i let them go through my garage, go through all my ----, blah blah blah, because i know for a fact that nothing stolen
then they start going off about how i dont put cars in my name, and then bring up that i del sol i used to have
they told me they tracked down the new owner and ran the codes and found out that it had a stolen engine in it? (------- d16b7 for the ------- win) I bought that car for 1200 one day, put a cf hood on it, traded it 2 days later for an integra, i didnt even have a chance in ---- to put a new motor in it
and then the moron goes on to say "so ive been seeing that youve been doing a rebuilt title in some of your ads"
i was just like what are you talking about
and he goes on to say "so how have you been going about doing this rebuilt title"
what a ------- moron, i had to explain to the mother ****** what a rebuilt title on a car was
and then he starts taking valve covers off the gsr heads i have in my garage, sayin "these are those b vtecs huh, arent those pretty pricy? how do you have money for all this? and how do you know theyre not stolen? then he walks up to a set of stock civic seats and goes "where did you get these, they look pretty pricy
they pretty much told me most of the parts in my garage were stolen just because i didnt have proof otherwise
what i was wondering is can those ------ ------s even get me for anything? i mean yeah i have a lot of parts but that doesnt mean ----
i started yelling at him cause he kept refering to everything as "stolen parts" and then he got pissed and told me that he could arrest me right now because of all the parts i have due to the fact that the del sol i sold, had a stolen motor in it

did you get there names by chance? did they have a warrant to look at your property? if not id be on there asses hard. i have the city try coming to my house telling me that i cant work on my cars. i turn them the other way and tell them to leave. what i do is none of there business.

My friends shop was searched along with 15+ other southern california shops. 2 major companies at the time had stolen motors
Couple guys went to prison
Another did his time and moved to texas. He is now out of business. PYRacing
sound like bs still?
This is how they catch thieves. Engine blocks are are the only thing in dmv records. Welcome to reality. If they didnt people would just steal motors all day and they would have no way to track them :1

For your record the vin# and engine block are recored when a new car is sold. This is how they verify when you go to smog that the engine block is the correct year or newer for the car and also isnt stolen. Ill promise you california isnt the only one that does this nevada did has well. Butt ---- egypt states in the middle of the country people cant afford anything so Im sure they dont give a ----. I doubt anyone will miss a ford tempo

the burden of proof is on them, just saying o this looks stolen dosent mean ----. next time they come make sure they have a warrant and while they are looking call your ------- lawyer and put the detectives on the phone. dont talk to cops for any reason, that is just dumb.
