easy to work on but expensive as hell... I was looking at getting a 35 ford that needed a bunch of work but totalled it up and it just wasnt worth it...

yeah one was a ~55 bel air 4 door stationwagon, i forget the other two. I love hot rod magazine, been subscribed for over 5 years now

I drive a Civic because I was a mechanic and the Civic is probably the easiest modern car to work on and mainly because everybody hates Hondas so it is so fun to stomp there "sports cars" on the drag srtip and the autocross.

Different strokes for different folks, personally I can't stand "rat rods" or pretty much any car that is older than the 60's

yeah thats why there called rat rods. more realistic to what people in the 50 era would have had cause its what they couldve afforded
I love rat rods, I think they look sweet, but if you did there look of primer and open exhaust and such on say a corolla you would be called a ricer
